TAMPA — The University of Tampa has been ranked as the 203rd best university in the nation, out of 857, by personal finance company WalletHub. WalletHub puts UT in the top 76th percentile of all institutions.
To determine its rankings, WalletHub compared the colleges and universities across 30 key measures in these seven categories: student selectivity, cost and financing, faculty resources, campus safety, campus experience, educational outcomes and career outcomes.
Fourteen colleges and universities in Florida made the WalletHub list, with UT being ranked as the 8th best. UT was also listed as the 43rd best university in the South, out of 277 ranked institutions.
Most recently, UT was named as a best value, a most innovative school, a top performer on social mobility, and a best college for veterans in the annual U.S. News & World Report rankings, in addition to UT’s regional top-tier ranking.
