This quarterly meet and greet presents an invaluable opportunity for the local business community to directly engage with key city officials. City Manager Jim O’Rielly, PIO/Events Supervisor Justin Shea, and representatives from the Fire Department and Police Department will provide updates on city initiatives, upcoming events, and public safety matters.
The Q & A session from 10:45 am to 11:00 am allows businesses to pose questions, share insights, and actively participate in the dialogue that shapes our community. The chamber believes that this direct line of communication will enhance understanding, collaboration, and contribute to the growth of businesses in Gulfport.
Moreover, the team city of Gulfport has strategically chosen to rotate the location of each meeting, ensuring that our community has the opportunity to tour different facilities they may not have visited otherwise. This initiative aligns with our commitment to fostering a close-knit and interconnected business environment.
All businesses of Gulfport are invited to participate.
“By facilitating these quarterly meet and greets with the City, we aim to create an environment where businesses can voice their concerns, receive updates directly from city officials, and build lasting connections. We encourage all businesses to take advantage of this unique opportunity to engage with the leadership of our wonderful city,” said Sarah Laracuente, President and CEO of the Gulfport Merchants Chamber of Commerce.
