TAMPA, Fla. (October 12, 2023) — The largest pumpkin in the state of Florida is now on display at Bearss Groves farm stand in North Tampa. The massive gourd weighs 1,500 pounds – the heaviest pumpkin Bearss Groves has ever had.
The 1,500-pound pumpkin was purchased and transported from Michigan, and arrived at Bearss Groves this morning where it was placed on display, creating the perfect fall photo op. It’s free to see and take photos of the pumpkin.
Bearss Groves has been open for over 100 years and offers fresh farm produce, plants and herbs, and seasonal delights like farm grown flowers, Christmas trees, wreaths and cactus. Pets are also welcome.
