On this upcoming Saturday, October 14th, immerse yourself in the world of arts and cinema after the Warehouse Arts District Association’s ArtWalk, featuring a premiere film screening and an engaging Q&A session.
The highlight of the event is the Florida premiere of “Between Sea and Land” (2016), a captivating Colombian drama directed by the celebrated filmmaker, actor, and writer Manolo Cruz. The film revolves around Alberto, a man yearning to embrace the ocean just across the street from his house, despite grappling with an illness that confines him. Through its poignant portrayal of Hispanic community resilience, unity, and heritage, “Between Sea and Land” pays homage to Hispanic Heritage Month.
Following the screening of this thought-provoking film, attendees will have the unique opportunity to participate in a Q&A session with the talented Manolo Cruz. With a remarkable career spanning 35 years in the entertainment industry, Cruz is a Colombian director, actor, writer, and producer. He gained acclaim with his debut film, “Between Sea and Land,” earning 21 prestigious film awards, including recognition at the renowned SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL.
