Thanks to the generosity of Amy and Michael Southard, their foundation Crofton Cares has again provided a Challenge Grant of $30,000 to support this program. Your gift to this campaign by October 20th will be matched dollar for dollar by Crofton Cares. |
These Teaching Trunks are essential for school age children to learn about the Holocaust and other forms of intolerance and prejudice. Unfortunately, Holocaust denial and distortion as well as antisemitic incidents have been on the rise not only in the Tampa Bay area, but around the country. Antisemitism and other forms of hatred are best dispelled through education. These Trunks offer the means necessary to enable young people to recognize and reject any form of bias and encourage them to become Upstanders rather than Bystanders. | ![]() |
