Tampa, Fla. – University Area CDC (Community Development Corporation) will present its 25th Anniversary gala, Silver Jubilee, on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the T. Pepin Hospitality Centre, 4121 N. 50th St., Tampa.
This year’s event celebrates 25 years of serving the University Area and includes a silent auction, cocktail hour, live entertainment, dinner, dancing, martini bar, and cigars under the stars. In addition to raising much needed funds for the organization, the celebration will include honoring 25 individuals and organizations who have been instrumental to the success of University Area CDC.
The annual gala is University Area CDC’s largest fundraiser of the year, celebrating the organization’s accomplishments while raising significant contributions for operations and programs.
“To be celebrating 25 years is a true testament of our hard work and unwavering commitment to improving lives in the University Area. Even though we’ve come a long way, we remain passionate and dedicated to our mission,” said Dr. Sarah Combs, executive director and CEO of University Area CDC. “It is a matter of great pride to see how much our organization has grown and achieved more than we ever thought possible. We are excited to utilize this momentous occasion to recognize and honor the numerous individuals and partners who helped us get here. We look forward to reflecting on the past, celebrating our present and preparing for the future during our 2023 annual gala.”
