Tampa, Fla. – The Kiwanis Club of Tampa along with The Kiwanis Foundation are hosting their 55th Annual Chicken BBQ Fundraiser in partnership with Metropolitan Ministries on Thursday, October 19, 2023. To purchase a $12 BBQ chicken sandwich meal, order meals for pick up or delivery (20+), or donate to Tampa Kiwanis Foundation, visit www.tampakiwanis.org/bbq/.
Pick up is available at 601 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. 11:00am – 4:00pm. Downtown Pedestrian Pickup is at One Mack – Cali Building located at 501 E. Kennedy Blvd corner of Morgan Street 11:00am – 1:30pm.
“Every year, the Kiwanis Club of Tampa has sponsored this major fundraiser – a Chicken Barbecue – for the benefit of many charitable organizations in our area,” explains Todd Moran, Kiwanis Club of Tampa President-Elect, 2023 BBQ Chair. “Our Tampa Kiwanis Foundation gives more than $100,000 annually to local charities helping children and seniors in Hillsborough County.”
“Tampa Electric and Peoples Gas have generously donated $15,000 to the Kiwanis Foundation to support the 2023 Kiwanis BBQ,” shared John Currier, Kiwanis Club of Tampa 2019-2020 Past President. “This donation will have a significant impact on the Tampa Bay community.”
