Samantha Ishee joins front office of Super League Tampa Bay
TAMPA, FL (September 1, 2023) – Super League Tampa Bay announces the appointment of Samantha Ishee as its first Head of Soccer Operations.
Ishee will lead the development and execution of the club’s sporting and player operations strategies. She was previously with the Tampa Bay Rowdies of the USL Championship, where she oversaw the build out of the Rowdies Youth Development Department while supporting the team’s sporting operations and community engagement efforts.
On the appointment of Ishee, Super League Club President Christina Unkel said, “We are thrilled to have Sam join our growing team. Her knowledge of the soccer community landscape coupled with her innate understanding of the game will help the club develop and sustain well-founded relationships from player acquisitions to the youth network.”
Sam is an active volunteer for U.S. Youth Soccer’s TOPSoccer programs and is a member of Women in Sports & Entertainment (WISE) Tampa Bay.
Sam earned a BS in Finance and Management and an MBA from Piedmont University. While at Piedmont, she was a member of the women’s soccer program and helped lead the Lions to three conference championships.
