LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. (August 28, 2023) – SimplyDwell Homes, a new homebuilder focused on building new homes for budget-conscious buyers, has donated $10,000 to Booker High School for use by the Athletics department. The check was presented Friday, August 18, at the preseason home opener football game on Booker High School’s new artificial field. “We are immensely grateful to SimplyDwell Homes for their remarkable donation,” says Dr. Rachel Shelley, principal of Booker High School. “Their commitment to Booker High School’s athletic program will have a profound impact on the lives of our athletes, allowing them to pursue their dreams and reach new heights of achievement.” According to Shelley, the $10,000 donation will directly benefit a wide range of athletic programs. By investing in these programs, Booker High School aims to empower its athletes to become well-rounded individuals, fostering both physical prowess and character development. The donation demonstrates SimplyDwell Home’s dedication to supporting the local community. SimplyDwell is building seven homes just across the street from Booker High School. The company purchased the lots, which had been the site of condemned housing, with the intention to improve the area and provide attainable homes for first-time and budget-conscious buyers. “This project is exactly what SimplyDwell Homes is about – helping provide housing for professionals who are budget conscious and dreaming of home ownership,” said SimplyDwell Homes President Jag Rupnarain. “We believe these homes will be a great opportunity for first responders, teachers, young professionals and families.” Although this location was a very intentional first project for SimplyDwell Homes, the company’s future projects will be full neighborhoods. SimplyDwell Homes has also broken ground on its first planned community, Broadleaf, in Parrish. Broadleaf will consist of 266 homes, a dog park, pavilions and kids play areas when completed, which is scheduled in the next three years. Located off Golf Course Road, the community offers convenient access to U.S. 301 and State Road 64. The community will be walkable with beautiful landscaping. “We want to be part of the community in every place we build,” said Rupnarain. “We are really passionate about where we live and where we work.SimplyDwell offerings will include ten different floor plans with three elevations available per floor plan. The homes will range in size from 1,300 square feet to 2,500 square feet, one to two stories and two to five bedrooms. However, the homes will be move-in ready, simplifying the home-buying process. “Purchasing a new construction home can be exhausting and overwhelming,” said Rupnarain. “SimplyDwell Homes offers move-in ready homes where expert designers have already made those decisions. You really just pick the lot and home that fits your needs.” SimplyDwell Homes will focus its attention on building in Manatee County first but will soon be breaking ground on a second community in Lee County called Owl Creek, which will have approximately 380 homes at buildout. In total, the company has identified six planned communities from Manatee County to Collier County. Those interested in learning more about SimplyDwell Homes should visit www.SimplyDwellHomes.com. |
