Dynamic, multi-genre band, GYPSY STAR performs in concert at Sacred Lands, a beautiful waterfront botanical garden in St. Petersburg Florida on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 7:30 PM.
Gypsy Star spins magic within their enchanting and uplifting musical compositions. Dominated by Spanish, Celtic and Latin flavors together with sounds of the Caribbean and the Middle East underscored by Pop, Rock, Folk and Jazz influences, this dazzling band has an unparalleled mystical character, charming and spellbinding their audiences with their vocal and instrumental fusions.
This gifted musical collective is led by composer, guitarist, singer Billy Keen and features the soul-stirring vocal prowess of lead singer, percussionist, lyricist Belinda Brodsky; Lolly Sonmez on keyboard and key/bass who brings lush full layers of sound to the band and dancer Kimara Lee who performs folkloric, gypsy-style dance while also adding vocal harmonies and percussion.
