Pineapple Kitchen, a culinary education, gourmet product and hospitality company located in Lakewood Ranch, Florida is expanding their original adult interactive murder mystery dinner locations from their Lakewood Ranch Lena Road location to additional locations in the greater Sarasota area. Their popular dinner shows have been selling out 2 to 3 months in advance and have murder mystery fans wanting more. To accommodate more guests, beginning in November 2023, the company has selected the EVEN Hotel in Lakewood Ranch and Hotel Indigo in downtown Sarasota to host Pineapple Kitchen Mystery Dinner Shows. “We are thrilled to have our shows performed at these new locations. It will allow us to offer our unique dining experience to more guests, while keeping the same level of interactive entertainment and intimate feel that our mystery fans have come to appreciate. Our mystery theme for the hotels is “Pineapple’s Speakeasy” where guests will come dressed as gangsters and flappers” said Jenny Schenk, Owner, and Co-Founder of Pineapple Kitchen.
During the 3-hour dinner show, guests are immersed in the mystery and become a character and a suspect in the show. The company’s award-winning mystery experience is witty, unforgettable, and sophisticated fun. Guests are encouraged to dress in costume based on the theme of the show. Awards are given for best costume, best sleuth, and best character. Sarasota resident Whitney Lear said after attending a recent show “My mom and I went to the murder mystery dinner and had a BLAST! We loved dressing and playing our parts and loved that everyone else got into it as well. Can’t wait to come back for another show!”
Pineapple Kitchen, winner of the 2022 Best Small Business of the Year by the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, and Best of SRQ for Family-Owned Business and Best Small Business, was created by the husband-and-wife team Mike and Jenny Schenk who write and produce all the shows.
