TAMPA, FL – Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Tampa Bay is excited to announce its next Monthly Luncheon event, “CRE News Through a Reporter’s Eyes: How to be a Trusted Source that Journalists Call First,” to take place on September 12th, 2023 at the Centre Club. During this fireside chat, attendees will learn directly from journalists who cover the CRE industry on how to successfully work with the media and position themselves as a reliable source—Ashley Kritzer, Real Estate Editor for the Tampa Bay Business Journal (TBBJ), and Breanne Williams, TBBJ Real Estate Reporter, will lead the discussion.
Moderated by TBBJ publisher Ian Anderson, this fireside chat promises to be an insightful look into the industry through the eyes of its reporters. Together, Ashley and Breanne will discuss what they seek in a story and how they determine newsworthiness, as well as strategies for landing press coverage, how to become a valuable source for industry reporters, mistakes to avoid when engaging with the media, and much more.
The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. with registration and networking, followed by lunch and opening remarks starting at approximately 12:00 p.m. You can learn more and register for the luncheon by clicking here.
