(Bradenton, Fla., August 3, 2023) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will offer a 40-hour private investigator course from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, Aug. 12-13 and Aug. 19-20, at SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail, Venice. Online registration is available at SCF.edu/Training. The course number is 15590, and the cost is $395.
This course will provide relevant technical skills needed for additional education and future careers in law, public safety and security, and will review topics including industry regulations, department rules, licensing criteria and investigation techniques. Completing the course meets the Florida state licensing requirements to earn the Private Investigator Class CC Intern license.
