| Le Macaron French Pastries Opening in Tarpon Springs Le Macaron, the leading French pastries and macarons franchise in the US, is opening a retail store later this year at the Riverwalk Shops on the Sponge Docks. Local Business Awarded $327,000 Grant for Expansion National Doors and Hardware, a supplier and distributor of doors, frames, and hardware, received a $327,000 grant from the Employment Sites Program (ESP) operated by Pinellas County. The three-year-old firm is expanding into manufacturing and constructing a new facility in the River Bend Business Park. The ESP offers grants to eligible businesses for expansion and new construction. |

| Sweetwood Bakery Now Open on Hibiscus Street Sweetwood Bakery has opened its retail storefront at 24 Hibiscus St. The new bakery replaces the former Olive the World Bistro, and specializes in custom cakes and desserts. Cakes can be purchased whole or by the slice and come in many flavors, including chocolate salted caramel, lemon blueberry and almond raspberry.
