4 Locations across Tampa Bay
The Florida Penguin Back to School Extravaganza with free backpacks & school supplies returns to the Tampa Bay area with 4 locations – Ellenton Premium Outlets on July 22nd, Brandon Town Center on July 30th, The Mall at University Town Center on August 5th, and Tampa Premium Outlets on August 6th! Open to kids and families of all ages and sizes.
The Back-to-School events start on July 22nd and include 250 backpacks sponsored by Florida Blue & Flying Squirrel Trampoline Park. Families may pre-register online for a free backpack giveaway while supplies last. At this time all backpack registrations are closed, but each event location is open to the public with thousands of school supplies, and dozens of local companies offering resources to families with children returning for the 2023/2024 school year. Parents must have a registration and a child present to redeem their free backpack and all extra backpacks will be distributed on a first come, first served basis at the end of each event. Families can participate in the interactive scavenger hunt for a chance to win 4 free tickets to Busch Gardens Tampa. Each event is fun for the whole family with product demos, health information, pediatric offices, financial services, family assistance & tutoring options, as well as many fun sports, dance and other clubs for kids. Children can enjoy face painting, princess & hero meet & greets with photo ops, free swag giveaways, local sports street teams and mascots, free raffles, family activities, stage performances from local community groups, science demos, and free photo prints for memories. All 100% free.
