| WHO: | Thaddeus Bullard aka WWE Global Ambassador Titus O’Neil, the Bullard Family Foundation and 10,000 high schoolers part of the Nazarene Youth Conference (NYC) |
| WHAT: | The Nazarene Youth Conference students from both U.S. and Canada are in Tampa for a four-day conference. The students will assemble and distribute 100,000 personal hygiene care kits to Tampa Bay area families. “Personal hygiene products are an unspoken need in our most struggling communities,” Bullard stated. “We often take these items for granted. But for these families, the costs add up and many of our students lack these basic necessities. We’re grateful for the partnership with NYC 2023 and honored to be able to work with organizations that come to our great city of Tampa who look to expand their impact.” “We never want to just ‘show up and use’ a city,” said Greg Wells, Nazarene Youth International’s Ministry with Others Coordinator. “It is our hope that we can give back to the city and leave a lasting impact. Immediately upon deciding to come to Tampa, we began hearing about the incredible work of the Bullard Family Foundation. It is a privilege to work with the Bullard Family Foundation in this project.“ |
| HIGHLIGHTS: | · Kits may include hand sanitizer, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, perfume, body spray, shampoo and sanitary napkins. · High schoolers gathered for NYC 2023 brought hygiene products with them to Tampa. Assembly takes place from today through Sat., July 8 at the Tampa Convention Center. · Of the 100,000 kits, 50,000 will be distributed on Sat., July 8. The remaining 50,000 will be distributed at the foundation’s annual Back to School Bash at Raymond James Stadium on Sat., July 29, 2023. |
