TAMPA, FL (June 28, 2023) — The University of South Florida Alumni Association is pleased to announce the officers for its 2023-24 board of directors.
The association board includes USF alumni, staff and friends who’ve demonstrated a firm commitment to the university’s success, are association Life Members and Circle of Excellence donors. Five members are elected by the board to serve as officers. Under their leadership and with the support of association staff, the board sets policy and guides the direction of the association as it builds mutually beneficial relationships between USF and its 372,000 alumni.
The incoming officers, whose one-year terms begin July 1, are:
Chair: Christine Turner, ’97
Christine Turner is the CEO of ChappellRoberts, an integrated advertising, branding and media agency representing global brands in diverse industries.
Vice chair: Sally Dee, ’94 and MBA ’11
Sally Dee is president of Playbook Public Relations, a Tampa-based PR and communications firm.
Past chair: Braulio Colón, ’03 and MPA ’10
Braulio Colón is the executive director and co-founder of Florida College Access Network, a statewide organization that works to improve educational achievement for all Floridians.
Treasurer: Juan Soltero, ’10
Juan Soltero is the customer experience and strategy leader for Bank of America Estate Servicing Operations.
Secretary: Balajii Ramadoss, MSEE ’03 and PhD ’14
Balaji Ramadoss is the CEO and president of Edgility Inc., a leading health-care artificial intelligence company.
