DETAILS: Finding humor in not-so-funny situations is one mark of a true humorist. Comedienne Heather McMahan’s material draws from personal and professional setbacks, her father’s death and moving back into her mother’s house as an adult. Her riffs on real life have earned her hordes of followers on Instagram and made her podcast, Absolutely Not, a hit. She christened her first stand-up outing The Farewell Tour, but is setting out on her second, called The Comeback Tour, naturally.
