WHEN: Camp session: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 26-30; Performance Friday, June 30 at 7 p.m.
DETAILS: Jazz Intensive students ages 11 to 18 will be taught this week by esteemed guest artists and master musicians in improvisation and jazz standards. The performance will be the culmination of a week of workshops and rehearsals in which students learned from esteemed guest artists and master musicians.
The Jazz Intensive Showcase will be performed Friday, June 30 at 7 p.m. Regularly priced tickets begin at $18.75. Tickets can be purchased by calling 813.229.STAR (7827) or 800.955.1045 outside Tampa Bay, in person at the Straz Center Ticket Sales Office or online at www.strazcenter.org. Handling fees will apply.
