Over the past 12 months, the 72 hard-working community leaders in the Rotary Club of New Tampa raised and donated $93,761* to nonprofits that make our community and the world better for everyone.
Club members are celebrating Friday, June 16 with representatives from 18 local nonprofits. These organizations will receive grant checks helping them fulfill their important missions. Members have also given 689 volunteer hours to these and other nonprofits including Trinity Café Feeding Tampa Bay and Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful.
“New Tampa and the North Tampa Bay community came out strong supporting our efforts to make Tampa Bay an even better place to live, work and raise our families,” said Ashvin Maharaj, 2022-23 club president. “Our Wiregrass Turkey Trot is well known as are the other fund raisers we host throughout the year.”
