Expansion Allows Beneva to Better Serve the Tampa Bay Market
SARASOTA, FL (June 9, 2023) – Award-winning Sarasota florist Beneva has acquired Whidden’s Florist, which was founded in 1954 as the first flower shop in Brandon, Florida.
“Acquiring the Brandon location is part of our long-term growth strategy to become the largest regional floral business in Southwest Florida,” says Sage Patel, Chief Operating Officer of Beneva. “Whidden’s Florist has well-established reputation for providing top-notch customer service and unforgettable arrangements to their customers in Brandon and throughout the greater Tampa Bay market.”
In addition to selling floral arrangements as Whidden’s Florist has done for nearly 70 years, Beneva’s Brandon location will also be a retail store for Beneva Plantscapes and Beneva Weddings & Events. Beneva of Brandon is located at 425 West Robertson Street.
