Keel Farms welcomes one-and-all to its Watermelon Weekend June 24th and 25th at 5202 Thonotosassa Road in Plant City just east of Tampa. The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
A celebration of the summer watermelon harvest, the festival is presented by Keel Farms, Keel & Curley Winery, and Keel Farms Agrarian Ales and Ciders.
This family-friendly event will feature the release of Keel Farms Agrarian Watermelon Cider, Watermelon Lager, Keel and Curley Watermelon Blush Wine and Strawberry Watermelon Wine. There will also be craft and food vendors and water slides provided by Rockin’ Bouncies.
On both days enjoy a DJ at the Garden Stage and live music on the Tasting Room Patio.
Admission and parking are free of charge. This event is also pet-friendly.
Watermelons will be available for purchase, along with a variety of watermelon treats the whole family can enjoy.
“Our Watermelon Weekend was such a hit last year, we knew we had to bring it back,” said Clay Keel President of Keel Farms. “This year promises to be even better with more watermelon offerings and fun for the whole family.”
Centrally located in Plant City, the Keel Farms Watermelon Weekend offers a full day of fun for all ages amid the beautiful backdrop of the Keel winery and farm.
