
SARASOTA, Fla. — The Pickleball Club, the leading developer and operator of private, membership-based high-amenity indoor pickleball facilities throughout Florida, is offering special summertime hours and trial membership opportunities at its recently opened first club in Lakewood Ranch.
The 60-day summertime trial membership will be offered from June 15 – August 15 for $475 and serves as an opportunity for prospective members to try out the indoor complex. Fees from the summertime trial membership will go toward the future membership initiation fee for those interested in signing up for a full membership before August 31, 2023.
The Pickleball Club in Lakewood Ranch’s summer hours, through Labor Day, are Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Pickleball Club’s first club in Sarasota near Lakewood Ranch celebrated its ribbon-cutting in May, marking the opening of the first dedicated indoor pickleball facility in the state. The Pickleball Club has six more underway, with a goal of opening at least 15 over the next five years.
The 33,393-square-foot club located at 1300 Sarasota Center Blvd. features championship-grade courts with permanent nets, an outdoor players’ courtyard, Pickles Café, Dink’s Pro Shop, an indoor players’ lounge observation deck, luxurious locker rooms and a HEPA filtered air-conditioned environment.
Recently, the club announced the purchase of two additional properties in Venice and Pinellas Park, bringing its total of secured locations to seven. Four other clubs are under development in Port St. Lucie, The Villages, Fort Myers and Bonita Springs.
Each of the company’s clubs range between 34,000 to 50,000 square feet, with 12 to 16 indoor pickleball courts.
