Spring Hill, Florida (May 31, 2023) – Brijbag Law is pleased to announce that attorney Brian Brijbag has been recently appointed to serve on two committees by the Florida Bar Association. Both appointments continue through June 30, 2024.
Mr. Brijbag has been appointed to the Government Advocacy Committee of the Florida Bar. The mission of the Government Advocacy Committee is to:
- Promote professionalism among the lawyer-lobbyist; provide appropriate and applicable legal education on matters of interest to (and tailored especially for) lawyer-lobbyist; provide mentoring and networking opportunities that are not available elsewhere!
- Provide an opportunity for a lawyer-lobbyist to stay abreast of and collectively be heard by Florida Bar leadership on various Bar proposals (including proposed rules and ethics options) that may affect them.
Mr. Brijbag has also been appointed to the Small Claims Rules Committee. The scope and function of the Small Claims Rules Committee is to carry out the mandate of Rule 2140, Florida Rules of Judicial Administration, concerning the proposal of new rules of procedures and changes to existing rules.
Both committee appointments meet during major Florida Bar meetings which include winter meetings and the annual convention.

Mr. Brijbag has been appointed to the Government Advocacy Committee of the Florida Bar, as well as the Florida Bar’s Small Claims Rules Committee. Attorney Brijbag has been recognized as a Rising Star under the “Super Lawyers” and has successfully completed the Harvard Business School online certificate program in NEGOTIATION MASTERY.
