Tampa, FL – May 25, 2023. Diaspora Fine Art Gallery looks to bring its latest curated exhibition, with Jewel Teiko Eklu titled, “Between The Aperture Of Fate And Fortune,” to Tampa. The original showing was held in a popup space in Ghana in April. The collection is another display of the richness and diversity of art and culture.
Headquartered in Tampa, the founders of Diaspora Fine Art, Anthony and Crystal Yeoman, recognize the importance of showcasing art that reflects the African diaspora. The Eklu collection includes various inspirations showing figures and portraits, random quotes, casino symbols, objects, lotto kiosks, and local lotto papers containing working plans and formulas.
“Diaspora Fine Art is dedicated to supporting African-American emerging and established artists,” according to co-founder Anthony Yeoman. “We are excited about this collection and the opportunity to collaborate with more African-American artists to showcase the art and culture to a much wider audience.”
The collection is available for viewing and purchase at Diaspora Fine Art’s website. The visitors are encouraged to use the AR Live and Wall preview features when they click the Shop Now button.
Plans to bring the exhibit to the Tampa Bay area are being finalized.
About Diaspora Fine Art: Diaspora Fine Art was born to expose others to the beauty and diversity of Black and African art. Founded by Anthony and Chrystal Yeoman to take the great works of emerging and veteran artists and make them accessible so everyone can experience the awe and pride they felt when they brought their first piece of art collection into their home. They started this gallery by creating something that added value; to the artists, the area where the artist is from, and the aspiring or seasoned collector. With that in mind, each sale directly impacts the artists through their profit-sharing program.
