DETAILS: The public is invited to a free Town Hall meeting to discuss issues affecting the community and commune with neighbors.
In attendance will be Hillsborough County Commissioner Gwen Myers, as well as representatives from offices of Florida Department of Transportation, Environmental Protection Commission, Hillsborough County Property Appraiser, Tampa Hillsborough Homeless Initiative, Plan Hillsborough, Hillsborough County Tax Collector and the Sheriff’s Office.
Issues to be discussed include affordable housing, children’s services, code enforcement, economic prosperity, fire rescue, health care services, homelessness, Parks and Recreation, public utilities, public works and social services.
Serving the community for more than 20 years, University Area CDC provides support for thousands of Tampa residents through holistic programming, adult education and resource assistance.
