HUDSON, Fla (May 11, 2023) – Jose Pascual, M.D. has been appointed Vice Chief of the Medical Staff by the hospital’s Medical Executive Committee. In this role, the veteran physician will provide guidance for physicians and other healthcare professionals while ensuring transparent and effective communication between the hospital’s medical staff, administration and Board of Trustees.
A member of the hospital’s medical staff since 1995, Dr. Pascual has served HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital as Chief of Medicine, Chair of Medical Quality, Medical Director of the Respiratory Department, and Medical Director of the Cardio/Pulmonary Rehabilitation Department. He also has served on the hospital’s Medical Executive Committee as Secretary and Treasurer.
A cardiovascular and pulmonary disease specialist in Port Richey with more than 33 years in the field, Dr. Pascual is also actively involved with HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital’s Graduate Medical Education program.
