Robins & Morton ranked second on Modern Healthcare magazine’s list of the country’s top general contractors.
The list ranked companies by the total construction cost of completed healthcare projects in 2022. Last year, Robins & Morton completed $1.2 billion in healthcare projects encompassing 3.3 million square feet. In Tampa, Robins & Morton completed $311 million in healthcare projects last year, with current projects at $424 million. The company has ranked among Modern Healthcare’s top 10 since the list’s inception 37 years ago.

Robins & Morton stands out among the top healthcare contractors in that it generated 86% of its revenue from healthcare projects last year.
Notable healthcare projects completed in 2022 include the vertical expansion of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, and the vertical expansion at BayCare St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.
In 2023, Robins & Morton will begin, continue and complete several major hospital projects including more than $430 million in work for UHealth in South Florida and the 282,000-square-foot AdventHealth Riverview Hospital.
