National Pet Month celebrates the joy of pet ownership, encourages adoption, and increases awareness of pet services and working animals. The Bealls on Manatee Avenue (6355 Manatee Ave West, Bradenton, FL) and the Bealls on 52nd Place East (7365 52nd Place East, Bradenton, FL) are hosting a collection for the Humane Society of Manatee County throughout the month of May. These two stores are collecting new toys, beds, leashes, treats, food, and hygiene items.
“We have a great need for pet beds, cat toys, stuffed animals, cat scratchers, dog treats, lick mats, grooming tools, pet waste scoopers, training pads, and catnip for enrichment. We appreciate Bealls’ support for our homeless cats and dogs,” said Alana Ruszczyk, Shelter Manager, Humane Society of Manatee County.
