LARGO, FL – Florida Celtic Soccer Club is excited to announce that the boys and girls competitive program has been awarded promotion to the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) Regional League. Starting in the upcoming 2023-24 season, Florida Celtic players U11-U19 will participate as members of the ECNL RL in Florida.
ECNL is a nationally based soccer league, and one of the most competitive in the country. The ECNL represents the epitome of excellence in youth soccer, for boys and girls, as the league and its clubs, players, coaches, and everyone involved seeks to constantly “Raise the Game” for the future.
“Participation in ECNL RL provides Florida Celtic Soccer Club players with exposure to top college programs, showcases and above all the opportunity to develop their skills alongside some of the best players in the state and country,” says Florida Celtic Director of Coaching Robbie Milner.
“Our decision to join the ECNL is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our players, coaches, staff and board. We are excited to take on this new challenge and to continue to provide our players with the best possible development opportunities.”
Florida Celtic is the only soccer club based in Pinellas County to offer both boys and girls participation in the ECNL Regional League.
Tryouts are open to players from all clubs, and the coaching staff in attendance will evaluate individuals for participation in the new program.
