TAMPA, FL – To kick off the start of spring, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Tampa Bay highlighted an inspiring story from one of Tampa Bay’s most successful media entrepreneurs. Bridgette Bello, CEO and Publisher of Tampa Bay Business and Wealth (TBBW), shared her “Wild Ride” life story at April’s Monthly Luncheon, making sure to emphasize that the key to her success is staying determined and resilient in the face of hardships. Bridgette learned from each obstacle life threw at her, and whether it was losing promised jobs or being the only house in Pinellas County to be destroyed by Hurricane Irma, she kept fighting to overcome those obstacles. She had multiple eye-opening experiences that changed the course of her life, which led her to become the first woman and youngest publisher at the Tampa Bay Business Journal before launching TBBW.
More than 100 people attended the Monthly Luncheon to learn from Bridgette’s “Wild Ride.” She shared that the trends in the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) industry often influence trends in the greater region. As Tampa approaches some of the highest living costs without the compensation to match, Bridgette warns that this trend needs to change in order to keep up Tampa’s forward momentum. She shared many lessons on life and even included a few “nevers”: Never say never, never give up, and never burn a bridge, and ended with always get your mammograms. She went on to say that TBBW will never have a pay wall ever, the cover will never be for sale, and it is telling stories that have not been told in Tampa Bay. Bridgette’s “Wild Ride” of a life is a true inspiration that encourages us all to work hard and stay determined to make our goals a reality.
Thank you to KUDUCOM and Lowe’s Commercial Painting for sponsoring the luncheon.
