B2 Communications is expanding, and has hired experienced PR professional Melanie Flowers as an account executive.
As an account executive, Flowers will work with clients on creating and implementing integrated communications plans that achieve their business goals. She’ll use a wide range of public relations tactics, including media relations, content strategy and development, and consult on effective communications strategies.
“We’re excited to welcome Melanie to our team,” said Missy Hurley, APR, co-founder and principal of B2 Communications. “She’s built a solid foundation in public relations, and we look forward to seeing the successes that she’ll help our clients achieve.”
Before joining B2, Flowers worked at North Carolina-based French West Vaughan, where she developed strategy, produced content, placed editorial content through news media outreach and provided counsel for nonprofit, corporate and government clients.
Flowers earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from NC State University in 2021. She served as student body president from 2020 to 2021, and advocated for the needs of NC State’s 37,000 students at the start of the pandemic.
Flowers lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, working with the fully virtual B2 Communications team.
