Upcoming performances include:
- Friday, April 21 – Arts Legacy REMIX: Celtic Culture Festival – From the rich and elaborate storytelling of the Celtic culture, from the coasts of Ireland to the Isle of Man, this event will celebrate the effervescent history and artistry that these nations have cherished for many generations.
- Monday, June 19 – Arts Legacy REMIX: Third Annual Juneteenth Commemoration (in Jaeb Theater) – In an evening of remembrance and celebration, this will recognize the importance of the date June 19th, 1865, when enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas were set free, the act which officially ended slavery in America. Featured will be spoken remembrances, writings of historical importance and an original performance.
Already held this season were: Arts Legacy REMIX: Selebrasyon Ayisyen (Haitian Celebration) – A Day to Remember, Arts Legacy REMIX: Let Freedom Ring (MLK Jr. Commemoration),Arts Legacy REMIX: International Women’s Celebration and Arts Legacy REMIX: Global Pride – A Unified Community.
All performances are held from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Visual art exhibits will remain on display until 9:30 p.m.
