HUDSON, Fla (March 30, 2023) – HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital’s Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center has been recognized with a Healogics President’s Circle Award, placing it among the top five percent of the nation’s wound care centers as evaluated in categories including healing rates, patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
Only 30 wound care centers in the United States earned this prestigious award.
Led by Medical Director Dr. N.S. Rattehalli, the center is staffed by a team of physicians, registered nurses and licensed practical nurses.
“Effective wound care is essential in preventing infection and other health issues,” says Dr. Rattehalli. “Our specialists craft a personalized care plan to help patients heal a wound and more importantly, prevent reoccurrences.”
Carlie Thomas, director of the center, added, “This award speaks volumes for the efforts of our team to stay on the leading edge of innovative care of non-healing wounds.”
“The performance of our Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center is part of our overall mission dedicated to the care and improvement of human life,” says Gina Temple, chief executive officer of HCA Florida Bayonet Hospital. “We’re proud to work alongside these dedicated healthcare professionals.”
