Tampa, Florida announces a free seminar series, called “Coffee, Cookies and Uncomfortable Conversations” is available on request for senior citizen groups anywhere in the Tampa Bay area. A free service from Form America, we’ll come to your senior group meeting and provide cookies, coffee and a speaker to talk about “uncomfortable conversations.”
There are four things every senior should have in their planning toolkit :
1. A will
2. A financial power of attorney
3. An advance medical directive
4. Final expense insurance
We’ll give a quick talk on each of the four areas, giving the basic information about each subject. You don’t need any attorney to get any of the four done, and nobody should face their final years without having all four in place.
According to a 2021 survey conducted by Caring.com, 67% of American adults do not have a will. These numbers suggest that a majority of Americans have not taken the necessary steps to create a will, which can have significant consequences for their loved ones in the event of their passing.
