Lakeland, FL – Watson Clinic will host an upcoming fundraising event in support of the March of Dimes and their annual March for Babies campaign.
On Friday, April 21 from 10 am – 2 pm, the parking lot of Watson Clinic Main at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland will be transformed into a fairground featuring food, refreshments, t-shirt sales, face painting, and multiple raffle drawings for a series of valuable prizes. This event is open to the community, and all proceeds from sales will go to the March of Dimes.
This event serves as a kick-off to the March of Dimes annual March for Babies walk, which takes place the following week on Saturday, April 29 starting at 8:00 am from Lake Hollingsworth in Lakeland. Watson Clinic is a proud sponsor of the walk, and members of the Clinic are participating in the event as a team to raise additional funds for the cause.
“Watson Clinic has supported the March of Dimes for many years,” said Watson Clinic Team Captain, Rebecca Pacatte. “Our kick-off event and participation in the following week’s walk will help to ensure the health of all mothers and babies in our community. We invite our entire community to help us in this mission.”
