The Favorite Comfort Food Will Benefit Hope Villages of America
Tampa, FL – The public relations firm headquartered out of Tampa, Florida has announced it will be matching donations of macaroni and cheese or monetary donations to Hope Villages of America as part of a new program called, Mac N Cheese Match Up.
The program came to life as the organization identified a need for many facing hunger in Tampa Bay. “Since Mac N Cheese is a comfort food for many, we realized it is also a food that unfortunately some families do not get to enjoy,” said Jennifer Vickery, President and CEO of NSPR. “We want to make a difference and provide food for families while also providing comfort as well.”
Hope Villages of America is a nonprofit located in Clearwater, FL and supports those facing hunger, homelessness and abuse in Tampa Bay. “We are excited about this program to provide families a much-desired food item,” says Melinda Perry, Interim CEO for Hope Villages of America. “We are looking forward to continuing to positively impact the lives of those facing hunger right here in our community. Efforts like the Mac N Cheese Match Up bring us together and helps raise awareness for the many families that simply do not have enough food to eat.”
The effort is part of NSPR’s ‘Community Building Blocks’ initiative where the organization is hyper-focused on supporting causes that help build a better community. This year, the public relations agency is lifting up organizations near its headquarters in Tampa, Florida.
