The Next Guest on The Crossman Conversation CEO Edition Saturday March 18 is Co-Founder of Scaleup

March 15, 2023 by Post

Cliff Goins IV Co-founder of Scaleup a company that helps small to medium-sized diverse companies scale into large enterprises is John Crossman’s next Guest

Winter Park, Fla — John Crossman will provide an interesting conversation with Cliff Goins IV on The Crossman Conversation CEO Edition this Saturday, March 18 at 10:05 a.m. across the Shepherd Radio network. Goins is COO and co-founder of Scaleup – a business that emerged from Amazon – that helps diverse-owned small and medium-sized businesses scale into large enterprises.

A native of the south side of Chicago, Goins became obsessed with financial freedom in his early twenties. After achieving his B.S. in Accounting from FAMU, he grew from being a financial analyst for American Express and creating some small, failed businesses and real estate deals, to obtaining his MBA in Finance from Northwestern and holding several leadership roles in finance and operations at multi-million dollar companies before launching Scaleup.

Crossman and Goins have camaraderie due to his service as the investment committee vice chair of the FAMU Foundation, an HBCU that Crossman Career Builders supports through endowed scholarships. More importantly Goins embodies exactly what Crossman is passionate about with his own mentoring and support of HBCUs – “Closing the wealth gap.”

Crossman said listeners should get some valuable insight from Goins who achieved financial independence before the age of 40 “through good old-fashioned consistence,” undoubtedly along with some of his other known traits – innovation, vision and execution.

The Shepherd Radio is available on three stations, each part of the MARC Radio group. 1270 AM – WIWA in Orlando which covers the entire Central Florida area. In the Ocala/Villages area, The Shepherd is heard on 103.5 FM and 720 AM, while Gainesville listeners can hear the broadcast on 96.3 FM or 1430 AM.
