
Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR) Manatee recently held a Lunch & Learn with Bradenton Mayor Gene Brown and Bradenton City Administrator Rob Perry. Barry Grooms, owner of Florida Suncoast Real Estate, lead the city officials in a discussion for upcoming plans for the City of Bradenton. Some areas discussed were, traffic, the Riverwalk Expansion, the sale and plans for City Hall, along with the relocation of the Bradenton Police Department. Held at the Bradenton Country Club, there were over 100 professionals gathered to discuss the future of many hot topics that are shaping up in the City of Bradenton. “Watching our little City evolve into a destination location is exciting and much needed” Grooms said. “The positive economic impact to the downtown corridor will be incredible, job creation, increased tax revenue coming from new development will help with schools, public safety and infrastructure” said Rachel McCoy, President of WCR Manatee.
