March 8, 2023 by Post

WUSF Public Media ‘Longest Table’ Epicurean Gala Returns March 30 to the St. Petersburg WaterfrontA limited number of tickets will go on sale first to WUSF members.ST PETERSBURG, Fla. (March 8, 2023) – The celebrated WUSF Public Media “Longest Table” epicurean gala is returning this March 30 to the scenic St. Petersburg waterfront, and tickets are now available on a first-come-first-serve basis for the event that regularly sells out to capacity. Guests can select now from a wide range of amazing restaurants. At the event, Bayshore Drive is closed to traffic and a table stretches from the Vinoy hotel to the Museum of Fine Arts with upwards of 1,000 people. Chefs from each restaurant then serve a gourmet four-course meal paired with fine wines to their segment of the table. WUSF members will have first choice of tickets starting today, followed by tickets available to the public on March 14. Guests can select their preferred restaurant at www.wusflongesttable.org or by calling (800) 661-0823. All funds raised from the gala go to support WUSF Public Media, which operates our local NPR station that broadcasts programs such as “Morning Edition,” “Florida Matters,” “The Zest,” and “Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!,” as well as Florida’s classical music station, WSMR 89.1 and 103.9. As with past years, organizers of the event expect tickets to sell out quickly.“We are thrilled to host this wonderful outdoor event where we can gather together to enjoy these fabulous restaurants in a beautiful setting – all while supporting the mission of public media,” said WUSF Public Media General Manager JoAnn Urofsky. “We have an outstanding lineup of restaurants this year and we’re encouraging our listeners and supporters to secure their tickets quickly.”Restaurant Selection
