TAMPA, FL – Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Tampa Bay turned the spotlight onto the performing arts at its most recent Monthly Luncheon, “The Straz: A Focus on Inclusion & Community Engagement,” on March 7th. The event featured a presentation by representatives from the Straz Center for the Performing Arts (Straz) that detailed the venue’s upcoming $100 Master Plan expansion project, which promises to cultivate a welcoming, inclusive environment for all who enjoy the arts.
Over 100 people attended the Monthly Luncheon to learn more about this exciting project. Straz President/CEO Greg Holland, Master Plan Committee Chair David Scher, and COO Lorrin Shephard shared that the future of the Straz is boundless. Over the course of the next few years, the Straz will transform right before our eyes. Influenced by many of the great performing arts and opera houses around the world, excellence is coming to Tampa. A new and improved addition and renovation to the existing Straz will provide each performance goer a unique experience. From the way you arrive, to how you exit, the Straz will be revamped and revitalized. Offering new food experiences and new space flexibility, the Straz will become a focal point of our city. Through the collaboration of DLR, Gresham Smith and Partners, and Kimley-Horn, in addition to the Straz team, this addition and renovation is sure to amaze.
Thank you to My Favorite Art Place and Old Republic Exchange, who sponsored this event.
