DETAILS: Ground will be broken in preparation of the much-needed affordable apartment home community, The Adderley, in development by Tampa Bay area-based Blue Sky Communities.
Tampa City Councilman Luis Viera will join other dignitaries and Blue Sky Communities CEO Shawn Wilson for a presentation and groundbreaking ceremony.
After its completion, this 128-unit multi-family apartment home community will feature one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, and amenities including an outdoor swimming pool, playground, fitness room, meeting room and a great room with a kitchenette.
The Adderley will be the first Blue Sky property within Tampa city limits, and will be made possible due to generous support from Truist Bank, the City of Tampa and Florida Housing Finance Corporation. To qualify for residence at The Adderley, applicants must earn less than 80 percent of the area’s median income (AMI).
