Dates: WednesdayMarch 1 — Friday, March 10
Terri Westbrook is a painter whose style leans toward impressionism, working primarily in pastel media. She is inspired by the places she has traveled to and lived, including Charleston, SC, Anna Maria, FL and the Florida Panhandle.
Terri discovered late in life her love and talent for creating. She has learned the basic principles of art and the nuances of pastel art only in recent years from online and in-person instruction. The focus of her paintings is primarily scenes in nature, particularly landscapes and waterscapes, with surprising use of color.
Says Terri, “My paintings are journal entries . . . revealing my response to what I see when I’m out in nature, or my emotions about a place I visited many years ago.
Making art is like meditation for me.
I hope people enjoy my pieces that come from my heart.”
Please join us on Friday, March 10, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm for our final Art Walk Reception in this location. Bring your friends — meet Terri and many of our artist members, enjoy drinks and bites and live music. In addition, Terri will be raffling off one of her pastel paintings.
