DETAILS: Girls on the Green Tee (GOTGT) and University Area CDC are partnering to offer free golf lessons for girls.
GOTGT is a mentoring program designed by Women of Color Golf (WOCG) for girls ages seven to 14, to introduce young girls to the game of golf and provide leadership development, self-esteem, confidence, discipline, healthy habits and fitness experiences, all through the game of golf.
To register, stop by the University Area Community Center on Tuesdays from 2 to 6 p.m. Parent/guardian must be present at
sign-up and a current school physical is required. Limited space is available.
