Colliers has expanded its commercial real estate brokerage team in the firm’s Clearwater location with the addition of Charlie Hart, MBA, as Senior Associate, Commercial Services. Hart joins Colliers with a specific focus on office and retail properties in Pinellas County, leveraging his deep relationships as a fifth-generation Floridian and Pinellas County native.
“Charlie’s background in business management and consulting, and his deep roots in the community, gives him a unique perspective in connecting the dots between buyers and sellers to get commercial real estate deals done in Pinellas County,” said Danny Rice, Managing Director and Market Leader for Colliers in Tampa Bay, Central & Southwest Florida. “We’re excited to bring him on and further grow our team in Clearwater.”
Prior to joining Colliers, Hart served as a Commercial Real Estate Advisor at Coastal Commercial Real Estate in Treasure Island, Florida, providing disposition, acquisition and advisory services for his clients throughout greater Pinellas County.
Hart brings a wealth of experience in marketing, business strategy and community engagement to his new role. Before shifting his career to commercial real estate, he served as a Product Manager at Amazon, where he ran the second-largest holiday gift guide worldwide. Also while at Amazon, he managed profit-and-loss efforts for Amazon’s Pet Habitats and Supplies business, including category auditing, reporting, analysis and strategy.
Prior to that, he was an award-winning business strategy consultant with PwC, where he translated clients’ internal data and primary customer research into engaging customer touchpoints.
“I’m excited to join the Colliers Clearwater office and partner, learn and engage with the best in the industry,” said Hart. “They offer the right insight, platform and team to help me better serve my clients. I’m looking forward to using my deep market knowledge and love of the area to leverage the many opportunities in Pinellas County.”
Hart holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he majored in journalism, and a Masters in Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Very involved in the local community, he serves on the boards of the Clearwater Free Clinic, Morton Plant Mease Foundation and Ruth Eckerd Hall. He also serves on the finance committee for St. Paul’s school in Clearwater and is a member of The Rotary Club of Clearwater.
