Charity Chics Presents Fulfill Your Destiny with $500!
Charity Chics kicked up their heels on Tuesday night and presented their first philanthropic achievement of 2023 to Karen Mertes, founder of Fulfill Your Destiny. The founding chapter enjoyed another memorable evening of giving and celebration!
Karen Mertes founded Fulfill Your Destiny with the vision of giving a “Second Chance” to citizens whose ability to work has been cut short by injury or unforeseen circumstances. Operating with zero administrative overhead, they extend help to underserved citizens with nowhere to turn. Since 2010, they have offered “Second Chances” enabling citizens to achieve independence and fulfill their destiny. Fulfill Your Destiny’s signature program is its ‘Business Builder Grants’. FYD has pioneered awarding these grants to proven entrepreneurs who have experienced life changing events and desire to take their businesses to the next level.
The 2023 charities supported by the Chics include Fulfill Your Destiny, Kids & Canines, Guardian ad Litem and Fighting Blindness. The Chics also volunteer at End 68 Hours of Hunger, Dress for Success of Tampa Bay and other charities around Tampa Bay.
