DETAILS: Patel Conservatory students, ages five to 16, will perform The Sound of Music, Youth Edition, one of the most beloved musicals of all time.
The dazzling score by Rodgers and Hammerstein helps tell the story of Maria, a young governess who brings joy and music back into the Von Trapp family, only to face danger and intrigue as the Nazis gain power during the early days of WWII.
The Sound of Music, Youth Edition will be performed February 23-26, Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and Sunday at 2 and 6 p.m. Regularly priced tickets begin at $23.75.
