Listen up. Time is running out for the Sounds of Success Community Marching Band (“SOS Warriors”) (www.sos warriors.com) to raise the money needed to take 100 underserved students on a lifetime trip to London, to participate in and perform at London Band Week in June. The SOS Warriors is the only U.S. community marching band to be invited to compete in this global event.
On March 1, the SOS Warriors need $268, 300 to complete the payment for the seven-day stay in London, England. This price includes airfare, food, tours, transportation and accommodations.
For only $100, you could win a brand new 2023 BMW 330i or a 2023 Hyundai Venue. But the bigger prize is this trip that could change a child’s life trajectory. The band is raising money by holding a raffle and a black-tie gala. Other raffle prizes up for grabs are just as impressive. They include:
3rd Prize – A VIP private day on board a luxury yacht for up to 13 people. This prize comes with a
personal caterer, bartender, and jet ski. The winner has a
choice of departure location: West Palm Beach, Broward, or Miami-Dade County.
4th prize – 18-hole golf with lunch at the Wellington Golf Club for 8
5th prize – 18-hole golf with lunch at the Wellington Golf Club for 4
6th prize – 85-inch Samsung 4K television
Grab a ticket or two for yourself, or get a book of ten tickets to give your staff for a birthday, an anniversary, or to boost morale. The random drawing will be at the black-tie fundraising gala (https://soswarriors.com/gala/) on April 8, 2023, at the Riviera Beach Marina’s Newcomb Hall Ballroom. The winner does not need to be present to win.
