Colliers | U.S. is expanding its Southeast industrial investment services with the addition of James “Jimmy” Ullrich as Executive Vice President, Investment Services and Michael Macchia, Senior Associate, Investment Services. The addition of Ullrich and Macchia brings more than 20 years of combined national commercial real estate investment and finance experience to Colliers.
Ullrich and Macchia join an established Southeast industrial capital markets team, led by Tampa-based Executive Vice President Ryan Vaught.
“During my tenure in the military and the real estate industry, the quality of the individual team members oftentimes determined the success or failure of the team’s mission,” said Colliers’ Ryan Vaught. “Jimmy and Mike embody the collaborative culture that exists within Colliers and will be a catalyst to our growth and expertise throughout the Southeast as we aim to provide the most dynamic industrial capital markets service offering for clients.”
During his 17-year career, Ullrich has executed more than $1 billion in sales transactions representing more than 5 million square feet. Prior to joining Colliers, Ullrich served as director of Stan Johnson Company (now Northmarq), where he focused on Southeast industrial sales, national net lease sales, and 1031 exchange representation. Ullrich previously served as an Investment Specialist for Colliers with a focus on industrial and office real estate in Tampa Bay, followed by five years at JLL. He began his career at PwC in the audit department before transitioning to commercial real estate.
Macchia joins Colliers with over five years of experience, focusing on investment sales throughout the country. Prior to Colliers, Macchia worked as an investment associate at Stan Johnson Company, specializing in single-tenant investment sales.
“This is a homecoming of sorts for me. I started my career at Colliers and have known Ryan Vaught since our time together at JLL”, said Jimmy Ullrich. “Through the evolution of our careers, Colliers has brought us back together. I’m thrilled to see the entrepreneurial spirit and client-focused approach remains at the firm today.”
“Colliers’ Southeast industrial professionals, from capital markets to leasing to property and project management, remains a market-leading team,” said Ryan Kratz, President – Southeast and Mid-Central Region, Colliers. “The addition of Jimmy and Michael to this group helps us further advance our clients’ institutional and private capital interests.”
