The Economic Club of Tampa (ECOT), in collaboration with Hillsborough Education Foundation (HEF), will host the 2023 Mayoral Inaugural Ball on Friday, May 5, 2023, at the JW Marriott, 510 Water Street, Tampa, Florida 33602.
ECOT successfully hosted the 2015 and 2019 Mayoral Inaugural Balls to celebrate and welcome our newly elected City of Tampa Mayor. Beyond the fun and ambience of this formal black-tie event, all proceeds from this event enable HEF to purchase state-matched Florida Prepaid College Scholarships for low-income students who are achieving academic success through hard work and a demonstrated commitment to excellence through active participation in HEF programs. Over 300 low-income students benefit from this program annually, with a 100% graduation rate.
With an emphasis on leadership, job growth, and economic development, the Economic Club of Tampa focuses on supporting Hillsborough Education Foundation through investing in our future generations – future leaders and employees, by providing scholarships to universities and vocational / technical / trade schools.
